By downloading, installing, or using the Friendly Calories mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Friendly Calories is an AI-powered nutrition tracking application that allows users to photograph meals and receive estimated nutritional information. The App provides personalised calorie and macro targets based on user-inputted health data.

3. Account Registration

You may register using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Subscription and Payments

Friendly Calories offers a free tier and a Pro subscription. The Pro subscription unlocks unlimited photo scans and additional features.

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

5. Free Trial

Where a free trial is offered, it will be clearly stated at the time of subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

6. Nutritional Information Disclaimer

Important: The nutritional information provided by Friendly Calories is estimated using AI technology and is for informational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have a medical condition.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of nutritional estimates. Actual nutritional content may vary based on portion size, preparation method, and ingredient variations.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or tamper with the App
• Use the App in a way that could damage or overburden our services
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or violates any third-party rights

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by Friendly Calories and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Friendly Calories shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App, including any reliance on nutritional information provided.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@friendlycalories.com.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of jurisdiction.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
